MBGP-A1 is specially developed to be used in remote reading
networks. Using this module one can achieve fully automated
and centralized reading of different m-bus networks. Data
can be transmitted to up to four independent operators, each
having own identity and access to it's own devices. Each operator
has defined data, which he can read and use. These service
set-ups (data operator access, devices, etc.) can be done
by maximum of two control operators. Control operators can
not read or access measured data - this data is prerogative
of data operator.

For correct operation a SIM-card must be inserted in MBGP-A1,
with activated GPRS service. Access parameters (such as
PIN, PUK, access point name, user name, password) must be
programmed in MBGP-A1 memory - we offer free software for
this purpose. Using this software also can be set the following
parameters:
- IP (v4) of at least one data operator, with his access
level
- IP (v4) of control operator and manufacturer (can
be identical either to each other or with data operator),
and all following set-ups can be made via GPRS by these
two operators
- data sending time period
- time for sending reading request
These parameters can be re-programmed at any time (excluding
SIM-card parameters) from control operator. Reading command
is initiated by MBGP-A1 instead by the server, because that
way the user has mobile operator independence and can choose
from every available GSM operator with GPRS service.
