G5100 is simple indicator, based on microcontrollers. It
is intended for use in all areas, where weight measurement
is necessary. The client can change some (not all) metrological
aspects of the scale and to use additional functions (counting,
percent indication, blocking, PC connection). Also special
modes of work are implemented to prevent unauthorized measurement
or malicious acts (like stealing). G5100 comes in industrial
box with class of protection IP54, but when ordered it can
be protected up to IP65. Large weight display and ergonomic
keyboard allow easy work and use. There is only weight display.
Applies the requirements of EN 45501:2001 (OIML R76-1 and
2).

All external connections - sensor, power supply, serial
interface, are connected on terminal blocks at the main
circuit board.
Calibration and set-up are made with random weight, still
the user must know exactly how much it is. Initial calibration
is made at two points - zero condition and some known weight.
After that possibility for precise correction of linearity
is provided, no approximation is provided.
Because this is a simple variant of G1602 and G1601, some
metrological parameters are hard-coded. These are:
- button ZERO range - ±2%
- button TARE range - 50%
- zero tracking speed - ±0.5e/1s
- initial zero settling - ±10%
We have developed special software for PC, intended for
use with G5100. We offer variants of report programs either
working under DOS and Windows. Special software also is
made for use with truck scales (look section Software).
It is possible to add different types of interfaces, so
to connect the scale in already build networks of other
devices.
