Series 4080 devices are programmable measuring units for use
in the industry. All of these devices can be equipped with relay
contacts, acting if measured value goes outside certain programmed
range. At this moment we have devices for measurement of voltage,
current, frequency, power, resistance, cos(fi). It is possible
for the device to measure any physical value (such as temperature,
pressure, humidity, etc.), if purchased. All series 4080 units
have four-digit display with digit height of 20,0mm. The dimensions are (H/W/D) 96/96/85mm
or 96/48/85mm (without plugs).

Series 4080 devices are designed on the basis of microcontrollers
and are fully programmable. Service and user settings are
saved in non-volatile memory. This memory has about 100000
write-erase cycles which makes it practically ever-lasting.
Service settings are code-protected; so can be made the
user settings.
The display of all series 4080 units is super bright red
with height of 29 mm. The visible height of the digit is
20.0 mm, the common viewable area is 75x22 mm and it is
covered with special purple
filter for better readability in any cases and ambient
light. The display is viewable from distance of min. 4m.
The measuring principle of devices series 4080 is modified
on the basis of the well known dual-slope method. It ensures
incredible accuracy (error below 0.5%), displayed value
stability but preserving fast reaction of the device if
measured value rapidly changes.
If measured value goes outside certain programmed range
the device signalizes by three potential-free relay contacts
(if the device have option “R”).In this mode the display
blinks with frequency about 2-3Hz (blinking can be turned
off from user menu).
Series 4080 units can be powered by voltage 55-250 VAC/
80-350 VDC (wide range 30-270VAC/ 45-380VDC also available).

Series 4080 devices include rich variety of options for
every single device: potential-free contacts for remote
signalization; code-protected user menu; high-voltage measurement
(up to 600VAC/800VDC for V4080); additional BIN/BCD outputs
(for SI4080); dual display for simultaneous monitoring of
active and reactive power (for VA4080) and so on; it is
also available to deliver any special devices with customer-specific
options.
In the future the series 4080 devices are going to be
equipped with special peripheral modules which will allow
wiring of the units in certain substation or power plant
in a single network (up to 250 devices in network). This
network will enable all the settings, reading and signaling
of all the units in the network to be done remotely by a
single personal computer.
